The process of making buttercream includes preparing the ingredients, baking the cake base, making buttercream frosting, decorating the cake and refrigerating it to set. Firstly, prepare the flour, sugar and eggs according to the recipe, mix them well and pour them into moulds to bake the cake base. Then, whip the cream and icing sugar into a fine buttercream frosting, adding flavourings to taste. Next, spread the buttercream frosting on the cooled cake and decorate it with a spatula and a piping bag. Finally, refrigerate the decorated cake to set, slice and enjoy.
